FedEx Field - Washington Redskins is the place to see this team take on its NFL rivals. With a current seating capacity of more than 82,000, this football stadium is one of the largest in the United States. FedEx Field is located in Landover, Maryland, just five miles east of Washington DC and opened as Jack Kent Cooke Stadium in 1997. A special exit from the Capital Beltway was even built for fans to access the stadium. In addition to serving as the home of the Redskins, FedEx Field hosts Prince George's Classic college football game, an annual competition between two historic black universities.
