I've never been to Sacramento. It's a wonderful inviting city with a huge amount of trees. It's amazing. My son and I went to the Capitol Building, an incredible farmer's market, old Sacramento, etc. You could eat on that riverboat and there were boat tours.

I liked the ease of getting around with a rental car. Downtown was easy to get to from the hotel and full of excitement. So many restaurant choices I didn't know what to do. We stay at this hotel because it is just two hours from where we have to be on Friday. We get to Sacramento on Wednesday, enjoy Thursday at the Crocker Museum, eat at Rio City Grill, then leave Friday morning. We will stay again next year because we love Sacramento and the location fits our needs.
