When should you travel to Saratoga, CA?

Saratoga's location near the Pacific Coast just about guarantees beautiful weather all year round, even in winter. If you want to get the best weather for your visit, head to the area between late June and late September for temperatures that are in the mid-70s and lows around the 60-degree-Fahrenheit mark. If you can't arrange to go around this time, you can stretch that to any time from the beginning of June to the middle of October to take advantage of the best time of year.

In the event you prefer to go during the off-season, you'll still experience temperatures in the 40s and 50s between November and February. Winter means wearing medium-weight jackets, but you'll still get plenty of sunshine with slightly less than a 50 percent chance of clouds on any given day.

The region is dry, with the highest potential for rainfall occurring between January and February. During this time, there is an average of 30 percent chance of rain. The driest time of year is the middle of May through the middle of October. You don't need to pack a rain suit when you're in Saratoga, as the chance of rain is remote at best.

The gardens of Hakone are a must-see when visiting Saratoga. This historic property is over 100 years old and has been faithfully maintained over the decades.
