Quaint downtown. Pancake restaurant across the street had good food. Ate breakfast there due to not being able to eat the fare at hotel. Tavern at the Vogue downtown had the best tator tots I've ever eaten, along with very good sliders. Friendly people everywhere. Layout of streets made it easy to navigate.

Chula Vista has an older section and a rapidly growing new section that now extends all the way to Otay reservoir. The older section is closer to I-5. The nearby Fredericka retirement community is very high quality in all respects.
There was a Greek restaurant just up the street and around the corner called Zorba the Greek and it was terrific.
I really love Chula Vista. Aquatica Water Park is a great outdoor activity and the Sky Zone Trampoline Park is a great indoor activity. Both are fun for everyone of all ages.
