Pacific Grove has spectacular oceanside walks, Asilomar Beach is a great beach! Wonderful places to eat, from two bagel shops to Pacific Thai (my favorite). Easy grocery shopping (big and small stores). The Monterey Bay Aquarium is literally on the P.G. Monterey city lines.
