Great restaurants, and hikes
Great Barrington has changed alot over the years. Now there are many places to eat, drink coffee and bars to sit at. It has a great movie theater and many places to shop for interesting items.
Everything I need is close by I do not need to drive.
We love the restaurants and the shops that we have direct access to because we stay at the quality Inn.
The area is rightfully known for its beauty.

I spent most of my time at Gould Farm where family works. But there are plenty of beautiful hiking areas. We did go to an excellent coffee truck parked outside a small, but interesting general store adjacent to a post office. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

The city was small and had cute, quaint shops.
There are so many hidden treasures in the South Taconic Mountains. Roaming back roads to find them is fun: the Guthrie Center, Berkshire Bakery, the Accordion Museum in Lakeville, CT, plus more.
It was a nice stay. Very clean and comfortable and the right price.

GB is a friendly and safe little city to explore. Discovered Feista Mexican Restaurant in an artsy alleyway, explored the amazing book store in the yellow house on Main Street. There is a lot to chose from to eat, drink and shop.
