Woodland is wonderful. Woodland offers so much for a small town but close to everything. Less traffic and I did not encounter homeless, panhandlers, or known identifiable trafficking. Appeared safe for families and serious travelers.
It was just a stopping point to get some rest on a road trip.
My son graduated from UC Davis ( Pre-Med) so we always visit him there and it's just the atmosphere, people are friendly and lots of places to shop and eat.

The staff is always friendly. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Fun little city. Downtown is good to walk through. Every restaurant we went to was good food and friendly. Easy to drive in woodland. And handy to Sacramento airport.
