Hotel borders on RB and Carmel Mt. Ranch. There is a Home Depot, Costco and other shopping and restaurants in the vicinity.

Rancho Bernardo is an established neighborhood in the City of San Diego. Close to all the tourist stuff you want to see but not in the heart of downtown.
