I was born in Wilmington so when we visit it's usually for family reasons. It's just much more comfortable for us to stay at a hotel than someone's limited home hospitality. So we don't get much opportunity to do many things, but we do like trying different restaurants.
Came specifically for a concert. Did not see much of the city.
I was visiting with relatives, so didn't see much of the city. There are a lot of shopping places there and I've toured the Dupont mansions in the past, very interesting. They all have something different to see.
The vibe & the people
The Riverwalk was fantastic. I had no idea it was here. And ate at a wonderful restaurant.
Beautiful. Reminds me of Evanston and Highland Park!
Shopping and restaurants is in close proximity for walking and driving.

The staff and guests were all so friendly and the Big Fish restaurant was GREAT! I plan to visit just to enjoy Wilmington even more next time.
Market Street is decorated with lights that truly add pleasant, vibrant and elegant scene at night.
It felt as though I was in NYC. Everyone was so kind and accommodating.
Felt safe in that area.
Here for a family event, but this part of Wilmington is always enjoyable.

Wilmington is beautiful with it's trees and there were several eating places and a mall near the hotel. Loved the Waterfront area for walking and dining. It's not far from Philadelphia International Airport and not far from downtown Philadelphia to see historical sites.
Close to soccer tournament.
I love the clean environment, there is so much space here and it not congested like Bklyn, I call this place country and I loved it.

The room and bathroom were clean. There was a great breakfast restaurant within walking distance of hotel as well as other very good restaurants.
Tonic Steak and Seafood Restaurant
We liked the close proximity to the Dupont Mansion and gardens. We also visited Longwood (no pets allowed there) and enjoyed the fountain show that was far better than Vegas!
Downtown was very clean and easy to navigate. People were friendly and courteous.
