We didn't really spend much time in Newark, as our business was in NYC. We had a budget which we were able to meet by utilizing accommodations across the river. Although there was a diner nearby that several of our members enjoyed immensely!

The city is clean and has some good historic sights and sightseeing. Make sure to visit the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart, a beautiful cathedral with preserved French Gothic architecture.
