National Gallery was spectacular!
A clean city. Even though we had rain on Saturday morning, the trolley ride was perfect. Love the mall and the memorials. Lincoln Memorial was our favorite and we want to come back to see the new Bible Museum!

I had never been to DC before and I was impressed by the splendor of the public buildings, the general spaciousness and the profusion of (free) museums. As a contrast - and on a very different scale - Georgetown reminded me of an English country town (I am English).

Washington is a gorgeous city! Great for walking. We spent time in the Dupont Circle and Georgetown neighborhoods. Also visited the National Gallery and African American Museum. Both were fantastic. Superb restaurants. Can't wait to come back!
