Food was great and there was plenty to do for all ages. The people in the hotel and shops were friendly and helpful. Traveling before the spring break madness and weekend activities in the town was also helpful.

Gatlingburg is a very lovely, quaint town with a lot to do. Some wonderful restaurants (Stay away from Shoney's) 'Downtown' area very walkable. A lot of candy/fudge shops, wine and moonshine stores, mini golf and more. I will return to Gatlinburg. Also short drive to Dollywood.
There appeared to be tons of stuff to do but, not much was accessible to me as I would have needed a scooter to get around and I do not own one.

Loved the FREE TROLLEY! Driver was delightful!! So much to do. All the shops, restaurants and attractions had such nice people working. Weekends things were really crowded. But everyone was of good cheer. Great city!!

Gatlinburg is truly the Gemstone of the Great Smoky Mountains! To be able to simply gaze at the beauty of nature all around and above the burg is a wondrous experience. And then there are the great shops all thru the town.

It was a lot of fun seeing the sites. The food and shopping was also great. The city is easy to get around on foot.
