The room was pretty large but that was the only plus. It's a pretty lengthy walk to the rest of the casinos and the casino at the hotel is small. Overall it was fine until they charged me the security deposit with out refunding me the difference from the tax. I was told 2 different things by staff in accounting and the second woman basically had no idea what she was talking about. After being transferred to the manager at the front desk all I was offered was an "I'm sorry" even though I am being charged $100 which will accrue interest on my credit card, and I have no idea when I will receive the credit back onto my card. If I knew I would be dealing with this nonsense, I would have spent the extra money to stay at a different hotel that doesn't charge their customers in this way. Overall it's not worth the hassle of dealing with unhelpful and unqualified staff. « less

My wife took me here for my birthday. The hotel is nice and the room was comparable to other casinos in AC but that's where it ends. The Dizzy Dolphin, the bar in the casino was serving only vodka and we couldn't order anything other than that, which would be fine if the alcohol was free. Every casino from here to Las Vegas, gives you free drinks if you sit at the bar and play the slots. We went to eat at the Simon Steakhouse/Seafood and found nothing but a fake fine dining experience. We walked in, there were only two tables filled. After waiting ten minutes to be greeted by one of the ten staff members who were standing around talking, the host asked us if we had reservations and acted like getting a table would be tough. Once we sat down they handed us a cheap laminated menu. The prices seemed decent and we ordered the shrimp cocktail, there were only four and had a steep price. I ordered the surf and turf for $36 dollars and the filet was overdone and burnt. The lobster tail was very small and didn't have much flavor. My wife tried to try something different and she ordered the beef steak strogonoff. They told her should the chef only cooks it to one temperature and couldn't make it medium. It was a big pile of noodles with again, overcooked steak. The whole time we had two different waiters who took turns at our table. They were friendly and nice but def. not what we expected at a restaurant that bills itself as fine dining. When we were ready to leave it they both disappeared for 20 minutes. When they resurfaced, neither one of them stopped at our table for the check. Even after waiving them over they came to the table behind us, at this point there were only four tables filled in the whole place. Overall the meal came to just under $200 and it wasn't fine dining. Just beware if you go to eat there, maybe take a walk down the boardwalk and try one of the other casinos. We are locals and only live a few minutes away so we experience all of what AC has to offer frequently. Beware if your wife wants a bottle of water, its $2 bucks for a little pony bottle. Overall, AC Club is cheaper on its rates and gives free parking but they nickle and dim you for less service then a lot of the other casinos. « less

I went to ACH WITH MY FAMILY AFTER MOTHERS DAY,my wife and i had a really BAD EXPERIENCE with the attendent of the pool department, as soon i got to the hotel i call them to ask the temperature of the water in the pool which they said it was at 85 so my family and i headed to the pool to have a fun time together, when we arrive there the ambient temperature was chilly and so was the pool even the people that was there told us that water wasnt at the right temperature,so i went to talk to the attendant and she say that temperature was at 85 and they were not gonna put it warmer than what it is i told her to check the temp. And she ignore me,so i call the so called MANAGER MARK he said he was gonna send techs to check the boiler,MARK called the attendant and after she hang up the phone she look at me with a snotty face she took the thermometer and when she check the water it was at 80 and she said well i cant do nothin about it. After all that when my wife try to buy an icecream the same attendant was so unrespectfull and rude that at the moment that she slide the door to open the icecream box almost hit my 2 years old hand and my wife told her to becarefull and instead of apologize she got upset and start talking to loud to my wife and saidYOU PEOPLE ARE GETTING ON MY NERVESand walk away from her and went inside the office and smack the door,i called the manager MARK to tell him about this issue and he told me that she made a complain on us and that he wasnt gonna do anything. « less
