Let me start by saying the "manager" needs lessons in customer service... This old lady has a .bad attitude, acts like every guest is a bother for her, and when I ask if there is anyone else i can talk to about the problems i have she tells me the owner is out of town, or he is not around. There are homeless people begging for cigarettes in the parking lot, the room next to mine was filled with children banging all night long, and I woke up with bug bites all over my arms. DIRTY, LOUSY BREAKFAST, AND MANAGER HATES PEOPLE. If i could take away stars i would...this is a negative 2 star property! « less

Although its not far from Lizzie Borden's haunted house I would suspect that this Super 8 may be more haunted! I'm sure we were over charged at $104 for the night. When I walked into the room my shoes were nearly pulled off my feet from sticking to the floor. (maybe a slight exaggeration but sticky none the less) The comforter on the bed may have been from before i was born and had holes worn in it. One of the beds sheets looked as though it was slept in the night before. And don't look under the sheets! No bugs but not pretty. Next time I'll sleep in the car!!! « less

My wife and I had the unfortunate experience of staying here recently- NOT by choice. When you first walk in the lobby, the smell says it all! You're quickly greeted by the smell of a body odor and vomit mixture. It's disgusting! My wife and I were greeted by "George" at the front desk. He was extremely rude and insisted we pay cash for the room (shady much?).
We arrived at our room and were completely in disgust. Stains all over the walls, bedding and urine in the bathroom toilet! Of course, we slept in our clothes and hoped the 5 hours we needed shelter would pass by quickly. Not so much. In the morning my wife was complaining about her back and asked me to check it. Even sleeping fully clothed she was attacked by bedbugs!!!
As we were checking out, we told "George" about the bed bugs and the urine in the toilet and he replied "This isn't a fancy hotel. That's what to expect". Right, excuse me for thinking that any decent hotel/motel would at least flush the toilets and actually care to have a clean room and give decent service.
DISGUSTING PLACE!!!! If I could take stars away, I would. « less

My husband and I used to stay at this hotel/motel quite a bit years ago. We hadn't been back in several years, but were encouraged by the nice gentleman I spoke to on the phone to ensure an early check-in we needed. Upon arrival, the check in clerk was very up front and honest. She asked if we had stayed there before, and if we were aware of the many changes going on at the motel. I told her no. She informed me that they were under renovations, so that the room with a king sized bed I requested was not available, that none of the rooms had king beds any longer. Also, that there were "quite a few children" on the property. She wasn't kidding. I saw on HBO a special about welfare families living in motels, and well....this was one of them. Kids ran around the parking lots, screaming and unsupervised, and running up and down the stairs by all the rooms. They did try to rectify my displeasure by giving us "the honeymoon suite" which was a nice room, but not fully completed, no pictures on the wall, no fridge (although it said all rooms had small fridges in the room), and a large bathroom with a jacuzzi that had just been put in that day, but the jets didn't work. The room had an under construction smell, new paint, and new carpet smell. Also, the bathroom had a shower in which you showered standing in the jacuzzi, no shower curtain, so water ran down the edge of the jacuzzi and onto the floor. 3 separate calls to the front desk for more towels and every time we called, the towels were either in the washer or the dryer. We never got another set of clean towels so I had to reuse the same ones from the night before. I understand the motel is undergoing work, but the website did not advertise this, and we will never, ever stay there again. « less

Stayed here one night - long road trip and very tired. Wished we hadnt. Room was dingy, dirty and I felt really uncomfortable about using the bed which had seen better days. I slept fully clothed and wouldnt get under the sheets. If it hadnt been so late we would have moved on. Lighting so bad, couldnt see what was on the floor- probably for the best. Seemed to be families living permanently in the motel alongside any hotel guests and there was rubbish everywhere in the carpark Not a pleasant experience and certainly taught us a lesson - cheap is not always the answer. « less
