DO NOT go to this Hotel no matter what the price is. There are druggie's and prostitutes all over the place. It's in a bad part of Phoenix. We were in 2 rooms and both were unacceptable. Upon entering, you could smell the mold in the air. It was horrible! Paint and wall paper peeling off of the walls. There was black mold around the tubs in both rooms. The price was $49 for 1 night. After checking out the rooms, we din't stay there. I only give this place a 1 because there is no 0. « less

After checking in I had to walk by a bunch of crazied type of people. Once in my room I was overwhelmed by a smell & in the morning I felt sick. The room was very dirty & the sheets had cigarette burns & was stained. Everything was dirty & I checked out in the morning rather than spend 2 more nights. I hadn't seen a place this bad ever ! « less

If you just need a place to crash for a night with absolutely no features, this place works. I read a review which said the bath towels look like they are used to wash/dry your car. This is correct. Expect no frills at all. Needs to be updated, but then again I didn't come for the décor. If you have kids, be careful with the tv (assuming your works), as channel 115 is hardcore porn.
I booked for 5 days and bailed after 2. The area is not the best. Just driving there from Scottsdale, I saw two people in parking lots holding conversations with invisible people. The rest of the crowd in the area is generally on the same level.
There are a lot of obviously cracked out street walker women wandering around - some talking to themselves. They don't bother you and will pretty much keep to themselves. The problem is the drug dealing out of this place. There are several "residents" who are running shop out of this place. Expect buyers & sellers to come and go at every hour of the day and night. Some of these guys get pretty heated, and you can hear their conversations because they walk the perimeter and balcony, waiting for their "stuff" to arrive. I bailed out because I was afraid of being mugged or shot due to the dope dealers. Normally I can hold my own, but as I came here unarmed, I wasn't comfortable staying in the area. « less

This hotel was the worst hotel I have ever seen. We had requested a non smoking room. The room reeked of cigarettes and over powering must smell. The ceiling had a 6 food long section and about a foot wide that was soaking wet and falling down. The paint was peeling, bubbling and appeared that it had been recently painted. The smoke detector was hanging by wires and there was no battery backup. I was not about to sleep in this room and especially with my grandchildren. We left and stayed somewhere else. « less
