My wife and I have stayed at Buck Hollow a half dozen times. We live about an hour away and use Buck Hollow as a place to get a quick overnight away from the kids or for one of us to go have some uninterrupted time to work. It is friendly, comfortable, and affordable. The food is always excellent. Would highly recommend Buck Hollow! « less

Spent 3 nights at the Inn. Wonderful hospitality, friendly guests, beautiful home. Breakfast was wonderful each morning (homemade waffles, egg/cheese omelette, vanilla-orange pancakes). We had never stayed at a B&B before so were unsure what to expect. Throw away your phone, there is no service. They do have a guest computer and WiFi but realized I didn't want it. I don't think I've ever had a more relaxing vacation. Brad was very friendly, checking each morning on what we might want to do and offering suggestions. I highly recommend Buck Hollow Inn if you are truly looking to relax and unwind. « less

This was our first night’s stay on a road trip through the Eastern States. Brad welcomed us and showed us to our clean and comfortable room. The bathroom was very modern and so clean! Brad helpfully gave us directions and restaurant suggestions for both St. Alban’s and Burlington.
The Inn at Buck Hollow is a situated on a lovely farm with beautiful views of the green mountains. We enjoyed a late night dip in the hot tub! We also enjoyed a peaceful sleep with the fresh air coming in through the open windows as we did not need to turn on the A/C that night. The common room is well appointed with a big screen TV, comfy couch and computer with internet access.
We were impressed by the gourmet breakfast offered to us in the morning from the friendly B&B Manager. Lemon poppy seed pancakes, sausage and real maple syrup – heavenly! Juice and coffee were delicious and plentiful. We had a nice chat while enjoying breakfast with Brad and the manager. They were very personable and we felt welcome and relaxed during our stay.
What a great first night in Vermont. We would recommend this B&B and we will be back too! « less

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights, and left with mixed feelings. When we arrived, there was nobody around to greet us, but it was a Friday night, so that was ok. We grabbed the note that was left out for us explaining where our room was, when breakfast was served, and other things to know about the place. Our room and the common area were beautiful, though there was no sound privacy in the room.
The next morning, we came down for breakfast at the time highlighted on the note, but there was no hot breakfast, only another note stating that there would be none today accompanied by some granola, fruit, and store bought pastries. Their reason for doing so was fine and understandable, but we wished that we had been notified the night before. We would have made plans for a breakfast elsewhere. Before heading out, we went for a walk around the property, which was nice, but in the absence of anyone at the house, it was hard to know where to go. Some information about the trails would have been helpful.
The second morning we did receive breakfast, and unfortunately it was mediocre. The bread pudding/french toast was dry and the coffee was poorly made, clearly they didn't use enough coffee grounds. Uncharacteristically for a B&B, we never once saw Brad or Jacquie, just their high-school age daughters, who were friendly enough, but not necessarily attentive. While the location was amazing, we won't be coming back. « less
