We booked a room at the Westin so we'd be close to the start line of the Indianapolis Mini Marathon. Checking in and out was a breeze. We asked for extra towels and got them within the hour of our asking. Beds were unbelieveable - so comfortable! They must have a water softener going through the hot water, because my skin and hair weren't dried out after a shower. And speaking of shower - there's a rainfall showerhead - so cool! The only thing I wish they had, was a breakfast, but then again, we don't really a breakfast before a race, just small bites. I'd definitely would stay again. « less

Stayed here for a convention. Location was perfect. Easy access via skywalk to the Indy convention center and all the downtown attractions. Room was very quiet and comfortable, although my view from the 3rd floor was non-existent (no problem, wasn't staying there to stare out the window). Starbuck's in the lobby. Shula's for dinner is very good, but expensive. Shula's is also the only breakfast option, and its adequate. Pricy for a buffet…I’ve seen better at Courtyard’s. My only beef is charging (in this day/age) for internet access. Only plus side of being on the 3rd floor is I could pick up a week signal from the free wifi in the lobby…but slow would be an understatement. I would stay here again if attending a conference, but would consider alternatives if it were my nickel and on vacation. « less

Very nice location. Close proximity to dining, museums, etc. Staff was very helpful and friendly during my entire stay. Just a few blocks from an interstate, so didn't have much traffic getting in and out of Indy. Parking garages are owned by the city, so there's no free parking from what I could tell. Hotel has most everything needed for a comfortable stay. I was on business, so my evening meals were off-premises, but breakfast/lunch during business sessions were very good. Starbucks in the lobby was convenient. « less

We have stayed at the Westin downtown Indy quite a few times and have never had a bad experience. This stay is just like all the others, very pleasurable and it was for the 500 Mini-Marathon. The location and atmosphere is great. We can walk inside all the way to the mall and surrounding restaurants. The value for the dollar is very comparable to all other hotels but the staff at the Westin makes the stay worth while. We try to stay at this location everytime we visit downtown Indy. I can only recall one time we had a problem and it was resolved very quickly. My first call for reservations will be the Westin downtown Indianapolis. « less
