To get here from Izmir is quite handy as the big buses stop at the street right in front of it. We changed our sea view room as it was incredibly noisy at night.
Mohammed provided great information concerning the city and the beaches and were always friendly and smiling. He also booked our bus back to Izmir which worked great.
The rooms are however a bit run down especially the baths. Mohammed mentioned that there will be renovation during the winter.
The location of the Papillon is good: close to minibus stop and an easy walk from the city center and to the carrefour supermarket. « less

The Papillon Hotel in Cesme was very good value. The room was clean and tidy and everything worked great. The staff were very obliging and friendly. Mohammed the manager was a great asset to me with my many questions and requests. The views from the front rooms must have been excellent (my budget had me in the back) as the view from the breakfast area was terrific: across the town to the sea beyond. « less

The location is only a short walk to the town center and marina where you can catch the minibuses to the beach. They have a beautiful well-maintained pool as well and the rooms are very comfortable. Would love to return one day!! « less

Hotel Papillon in Cesme was a great choice. While there are a few cons (hard bed, no daily housekeeping, noisy, Mosquitos, small room), its charm outweighs everything. The staff are friendly, attentive, helpful and accommodating. Our room had a balcony and a view of the Aegean Sea. The pool is large and sparkling clean. The grounds are more than lovely, with chaise lounges and shade. The complimentary breakfast was tasty and ample, with hard boiled eggs, cold meat and cheeses, fresh breads, fruits, cereal, etc, eaten in an idyllic outdoor patio. The hotel offers easy access to town, as in 15 minutes of walking you can be at the harbor and the castle. On request the Izmir buses will drop you off or pick you up curbside to the hotel. All in all, we were delighted with our stay! « less
