I chose this hotel based on price, I got a really good deal for the 5 nights (including weekend) that I was in Vegas.
Even though I booked and paid through Expedia I was well aware of the amenities fee that the hotel charges. Trust me, $8.95 is way less than what I paid at an MGM property last year.
The room was clean and comfortable. I had no problems with housekeeping. I had no problems with noise, I guess I'm a heavy sleeper.
The shuttle service was great! Steph and DJ were amazing. Thank you so much for the excellent service, your knowledge, and just overall great conversation.
The continental breakfast at this hotel is quite sparse and could be improved. I also did not like the fact that I couldn't bring a coffee and oj to my room.
I didn't use the pool so I can't comment on that. I did use the treadmill in the fitness room. The room itself is small but has almost everything you need. I would suggest some disinfectant to wipe down the equipment after use.
Over all, my experience at Baymont was great and I will be staying at this hotel again. « less

We had a nice stay at Baymont Inn and Suites. It is just a mile away from the Vegas Strip and very conveniently located near the airport and car rental location. The room rates are not too high. They have shuttle to the strip and the response time is very quick. The shuttle drops -off and picks up at a bunch of locations. So it is worth considering.
The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. Specially Jules, he was very helpful and informative. The continental breakfast goes on from 6:00 - 9:00 and was alright, nothing too great. The coffee is not good at all.
I would have given 4 four stars, but for a couple of things
1. They charged us a convenience fee, ~ $10 a day. We were told, before we could protest, that it was on the fine print. We got this deal on Priceline and I could not locate this on their fine print.
2. They did not have a fridge or a microwave in the room.
3. There are apartment complexes/homes right opposite the hotel and they played music, very loud music, until about 2:00 or 3:00 am one night. This was quite frustrating. However, when we complained to the hotel employee, the music stopped soon afterward.

The desk staff was friendly. They charged me an extra $9.99 "access fee" which included the wireless, continental breakfast, pool, etc. It's very hard to find a hotel in LV anymore that doesn't have "resort fees" under one name or another. So if you're going to have to pay extra anyway, might as well start out with a low rate. Location was good but not real easy to find in the dark. « less

Located on Flamingo Ave just @ 1/2 mile from Caesar's Palace, this hotel is a Great Value (@$45/nt including taxes and fees on Thursday and Friday nights in May). Huge, modern, quiet, clean rooms. Free breakfast is very good (cold cereals, yogurt, juices, waffles, toast, coffees, etc.) and in nice lounge area. Free parking is underground, keeping car cool and access handy regardless of outside weather. Outdoor pool on 2nd floor is long enough for laps, private enough for sun-bathing, located just down hallway from free fitness center. Security system (room card key required to operate elevator anytime and gain access to hotel lobby during early morning hours) is both comforting and inconvenient. Staff is varied: some experienced (very helpful), others in-training mode (several mistakes). Commuting to/from heart of The Strip --- Bellagio's, Caesar's, Mirage, Wynn --- is so convenient, it seems impossible that we paid so little for so much value! « less

The rooms are clean but that is the only positive part of this stay. The rooms are so crowded that you need shin guards to protect your shins from the black bed frame that gets lost in the dark carpet. The WiFi is slow and hard to connect. The Direct TV has a very limited number of channels, no ABC or NBC. TV channel control set to Spanish. The hot tub was taped off as out of order but hot as a hot tub should be. Wonder why we could not at least use it as a hot soak ? The Continental Breakfast was very limited.Weak coffee, Signs like "Sorry, no yoghurt, No toaster waffles, no bagels, no fake cream cheese, no bananas, " Ask for assistance from the staff and they offer you the pay extra menu. Try buttering toast when there are no plates, only bowls. When we checked out a day early, the hotel refused to refund the last day's room fee. They did not charge us for the last night's amenities fee that had been advertised at $8.00 plus tax but was billed at $10.00 plus $1.20 tax. « less
