THE SURRONDINGS:
The Relais du Plessis is set in the heart of the Loire Valley (a UNESCO world heritage site). The Loire Valley, famous for its favorable climate, was for centuries the residence of the French kings. This part of France is known for its rich gastronomy and wine, its exquisite castles of the Loire Valley, its well preserved medieval towns like Chinon or Saumur. Near to the resort lies the town of Richelieu, 1km, with its architecture and its vast but perfectly preserved park with the total surface of 400ha.
This resort is ideal for relaxing vacation in the middle of the countryside.
In the south of the resort, at 45 min You will find the most famous attraction park in France-le FUTUROSCOPE along with other amimal amusements parks.
Richelieu has shops and restaurants.

THE RESORT*** :
Eco-friendly 3*** resort set in 4 hectares of pedestrian park boasting excellent on site facilities including a fine dining restaurant, outdoor heated swimming pool (April to October,17.5 x 8.5 x 1.5m depth), shared laundry facilities and a contemporary designed bar. You will stay in the comfortable modern apartments situated in the wooden cottages. The apartments have the surface from 30m² to 42m² and are fully equipped with modern stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, the living room with sofa bed, desk, LCD TV and free Wifi available, 1 ou 2 bedrooms
( according to the type the apartment), the modern bathroom with bathtub and separate toilettes.
Every apartment dispose of terrace (15m²) or private garden.
The resort has been built with sustainability and ecology in mind incorporating solar panels, and a system for the recovery of rain water.
For the energetic there are bikes for hire on site and many bike tours/walks are possible around the resort.
The countryside is very pleasant, with many beautiful sites and vinards along the way. On You bikecycle You can
explore the famous Loire a Velo-a bike path along Loire. You can visit the wine cellars or local farms producing truffles, asparagus or safran.
For the children there is a separate children’s pool and a ‘Kids Club’ offering different types of workshops (please book in advance).Within 1h from the resort You will find the famous amusement parks: Futuroscope, Vallée des singes (monkeys),l’Ile des serpents (snakes) ou la Planete des crocodiles (crocodiles)
For those who are seeking a more relaxing type of holiday, the Nature & Health Spa on site has a Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, rest rooms and solarium. Treatments including massages, aromatherapy, and hot stones can be arranged and paid for locally.
LE SPA :
A modern Spa with the total surface of 320m² is situated in the heart if the resort. Here You can enjoy the 2 sauna, Jacuzzi, hot steam and the relaxing tea room.
For the individual’s treatments, we propose of 10 private rooms to enjoy massages, hydrotherapy, balneotheraphy, wraps and peeling.
LA RESTAURATION :
On the site, the fine dining restaurant, le Mazarin, will make You discover the local and contemporain french cuisine. Working exclusively with local producers and winemakers, we make this restaurant a very unique place where You can discover the culinary specialties of this part of France .(meals a la carte or harf board)
