Having read some previous trip advisor reports on this hotel we were a bit cicumspect about our stay. The hotel however was fine - OK on a few occasions it was a bit noisy but that was the fault of the noisy russians from down the corridor who appeared to shout rather than alk normally. Our sleep was never disturbed so we did not experience that found by other travellers.The location of the hotel is excellent being within walking distance of the main railway station thus making the airport easily accessible. It is also very close to a number of underground stations which makes all of the tourist sites available. Travel in Barcelona is cheap and really excellent - the T10 ticket is a very good investment. The Plaza Espana is also very close where they have made a terrific restoration of the old bull ring - it is now full of shops and restaurants. Barcelona is a lovely city and is certainly well worth a visit - one tip however is to book the Sagrada Familia and other attractions on line - the queues can be horrendous and the attractions are fantastic particularly the Sagrada Familia.The only complaint that we had about the hotel is that the breakfast is very expensive - this was not too much of a problem though because there are many small bars and restaurants around where you can get breakfast at for less than half of that charges by the hotel. « less

I was happy with the location of the hotel. The staff was unfriendly, but I can get past that. The rooms are basic and modern. The worst thing about this hotel is that the walls are paper thin. I could hear everything going on in the rooms next door. In the mornings and nigths the doors are slamming, the maids start cleaning at 9 am and that was when my walls begain to shake due to them slamming the beds from the room next door. The streets are very loud as well, if you like quite do not come to this hotel. « less

Lovely hotel with friendly staff full off advice on attractions and getting around the city. Nice clean modern hotel with nice sized rooms in a great location with plenty off shops and places to eat round about. Also in close proximity to the magic fountains and 3 subway's great for getting around the city. Would recommend. « less

No complaints. Staff very friendly and helpful at check in, giving us plenty of tips of where to go and what to see. 5 minute walk from train station and 2 tube stations very close by. The rooms were spacious and cleaned to a high standard every day.

Good breakfast, nice, cosy outdoor seating area. Great price compared to all the craziness near las ramblas with just a few minutes of the subway ride away. « less
