We stayed at the Hotel du Golf d'Arras for one night on the way back from chamonix, it's in a good location for a stopover because of its distance and accessability from the A26. On arrival we had a friendly reception and were allocated room 36, we booked through Late Rooms and it was quite obvious that we were allocated the smallest room in the hotel . As we entered the room there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke even though the hotel was advertised a non smoking and there are signs on the door to reinforce this. I returned to reception and we were then moved to room 37 which had the same facilities but was double the size. The rooms are modern, have tea and coffee making facilities, basic tv, a good shower and a very low but comfortable bed. We didn't eat in the Infini restaurant and we left too early for breakfast. All in all....not a bad place to stay ! « less

Stayed here twice in the last six weeks, both times on a golf break. Facilities are excellent and only 10 minutes drive from historic and beautiful Arras. Restaurant La Faisandrie on the main square is an old favourite of ours. Golf course is full of interest, wildlife and water, and in excellent condition. Hotel facilities and staff are first rate. The separate clubhouse and restaurant are well thought out with multiple screens around the bar area showing various current sports.Unlike the hotel staff the bar staff could be rather offhand. The complex is regularly used by small sized business groups which do not intrude on the leisure visitors but do keep the place busy and therefore the atmosphere buzzing. Basic rooms are ok, suites are roomier and better appointed. Good packages available via golfbreaks etc. « less

My partner & I spent 4 nights at Hotel Du Golf from 17th October. Despite grey skies & rain we had a lovely time which started with a warm welcome from the staff. The room was compact with no drawer space but had a superb shower & great view of the first hole. Breakfasts were very healthy & comprehensive. The main restaurant is a 200 yard walk away and includes a sports bar & many mesmerising TV screens plus a wonderful restaurant. The English translation of the menu doesn't do justice to the very fine food. And chocolate puddings to die for plus extra chocolate! For golfers, the course presents a watery challenge but has some interesting elevated tees and lots of wildlife including red squirrels. Arras is very much worth a visit - the main square & Abbey are illuminated at night - and the local council appear to be making huge efforts to attract tourism & ( luckily ) English is widely spoken with smiles at no extra charge. The roads from the Eurotunnel are virtually deserted - one toll road at Euro 7.60 - and makes for an easy journey. I would recommend this hotel/course/area. « less

Arrived to warm welcome and had one of the best rooms (so far as position is concerned) in the hotel - just off the lobby and on the same floor as reception. The hotel is split level, having two stories to the rear and three to the front which overlooks the golf course. The room was adequate but not large - we were staying four nights and managed. The bathroom was a bit dated and the hotel generally seemed a little tired. There is no catering at the hotel other than breakfast, which was average and no more. On a couple of days there were conference groups and breakfast became crowded and unable to cope easily. There is a restaurant at the nearby Golf Club which was quite good and had a well executed and interesting menu. We found Arras a little confusing to drive around and so used taxis which were about €13 each way. It was OK as a stop en route but not the best choice for a four day stay - somewhere more central would have been preferable. « less

The golf side seems very attractive and relaxing place. Restaurant within the main building is perfect. Restaurant on the side building is really low level, with waiters way too proud and looking badly at you when they themself throw the sauce out of the plate, over onto your shoulders... Just amazing. Rooms are pretty limited size if not in suite. No airconditioning and this is really painfull as only the suite are facing the fresh air of the golf court. Wifi is nearly inexistant and working sessions are to be avoided. Really not to be recommended for business matters. « less

Testimonials: Why use Hotel Planner?
"This is one of the best services I have seen so far on the internet. I was placed in charge of the hotel and park for our Family Reunion in September and in 2 weeks I was able to meet with several Sales Personnel at many different hotels. They were prompt responding directly from you Website. I will recommend this service to anyone planning a big event." K.B. - Milwaukee, WI
"Everything went smoothly and we got such a great rate that nearly everyone in the wedding is coming up to stay the night before! That's about 40-50 people so we needed extra rooms and Serge has accomodated us with this all at the same low price." S.M. - Sacramento, CA
