A little wear and tear in the room, broken plugs in desk, lamps were rusty, etc. Long walk from elevator to the room if you get one at the end of the hall. I did find the waitress in the bar nice and competent. Food was average. The pool is large enough for some swimming. Gym has the basic equipment in working order.
You won't be impressed or disappointed. Decent place to stay. « less

The Front Desk staff that was working around 6:30pm on May 8 were all GREAT...warm smiles and very courteous. Exactly how hospitality folk should be.
...then, I got to my room. It was a sad, kind of ragged room, with an armchair in it that looked like it had been used daily for the last 10 years. The toilet was running when I walked in. Furnishings all looked a bit beat up. I checked my rate to see if I had booked something substandard, and saw that I was paying $135 (AAA rate). Also, I could see no sign of any Hilton Diamond perk. I called the front desk and they quickly brought up a key for an upgraded room on another floor. This room was better, but still had a curtain hanging off its hooks, some holes in the carpet and upholstered furniture that was almost shiny from lots of use. The rooms smell okay, but I would not want to crash on the couch or even sit in the chairs.
I see the hotel GM does read these reviews, and maybe they help with getting funding for improvements. I think the staff and the bones of the place are good, it just needs some surface help. « less

We booked this hotel on the same day we stayed there, so it was a great for a last minute booking. It is right off of I-69 so it's easy to find and get to. It is very clean and nice inside. The room was also very clean and we didn't have any problems with the room. The staff was very nice to us. To be honest, we used the Priceline negotiator so we didn't know where we would be staying when we booked our hotel, but we were very happy with the selection and the price. « less
