I enjoyed my trip while staying in this hotel for 2 days. Proximity was great, so no problem meeting some friends. Transportation is accessible and close to some nice restaurants and the Eaton’s Shopping Center. Felt safe in the area as I was traveling alone. The fact, it was comforting at night knowing the management takes measures on providing security to the guests. It was wonderful to have a nice and clean room, a comfortable bed and with a lovely view facing the lake. The front desk service was even great every time I asked for direction. It was pleasant to see some friendly smiles. I’ve no complain overall as the staff was even helpful getting me taxi to airport as well. Now, I know where to stay when I get back to Toronto someday. I Highly recommend this hotel to single traveler like me. « less

I stayed here during Caribana 2012. It was a lively place and there were a couple of late-night fire alarms caused I'm sure by the ginger-headed kid I saw running down the hallways with a little ghetto blaster that I saw through my peephole at whatever-thirty in the morning but it was Toronto during Caribana... what can you do? The place itself was great to stay it. My room was comfortable and had a little kitchenette-type thingy. The view was sweet and it is a stone's throw away from the old Maple Leaf Gardens and a current Loblaws that has this fresh-squeezed fruit juice that was so good I thought I was going to overdose on it. It was a good home base for an adventure in the city. I didn't try the restaurant on site but I hit the tiny Tim Hortons up several times. I would recommend it. I won't say that I lived like a king but I was at least a well-respected duke! I had a great time. « less

Had children with us and did not know anything about Toronto. Big pretty city, lots of skyscrapers. Other reviews said rooms were big at this hotel which is true. We were comfortable as 2 adults with 2 kids. Very nice lobby and lots of friendly people. Big TV in our room that children liked. Front desk helped us with city tours and the art museum tickets. Everything was in walk distance to the hotel and seemed very safe. The restaurant in the hotel was very good for breakfast and the waitress was so nice. We had family over from Toronto to the hotel and was nice to have a big room that was so fresh to have them visit. If we go back to Toronto we will stay at this hotel again! « less

I was quite happy with my stay at the Primrose. I thought it was quite reasonably priced. The free internet was wonderful. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The parking is very over priced as any parking in Toronto. But beware their parkade is for compact cars only! « less
