The vision of Chetola was started in 1846 with the Manor House Estate. The vision became a reality and Chetola now encompasses 87 acres of breathtaking scenery surrounded by the Blue Ridge Parkway, the quaint mountain village of Blowing Rock and a 3600 acre national park. Chetola Lodge overlooks beautiful Chetola Lake and features 37 guest rooms and 5 Bob Timberlake Suites. At Chetola, guests enjoy year round activities including tennis, hiking, fishing, fitness center, indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, boating, massage therapy, Eminence Organic Skin Care facials, and much more. In the area, guests can enjoy horseback riding, whitewater rafting, golf, fly fishing, skiing and many other activities. Chetola Resort is the only Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Lodge in North Carolina. The 1846 restored Manor House Estate is now home to the Manor House Restaurant at Chetola. The Manor House Restaurant features continental cuisine and mountain specialties. Enjoy dining in three vintage dining rooms or on the patio overlooking Chetola Lake. Chetola Resort and Conference Center specializes in hosting groups and special events up to 150 people.
