Best Western Battleship Inn ("BWBI") is located next to the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, conveniently off Interstate 10, Exit 27 just minutes away from Downtown Mobile and many attractions. BWBI offers the following room types and amenities: One (1) King Bed, One (1) Queen Bed or Two (2) Queen Beds 32” Flat screen HDTV / DVD and Free High Speed Internet Microwave, Refrigerator, Coffee/Coffee Maker, Iron/Ironing Board Hairdryer and toiletries Battleship View or Pool Side view Exterior entry, outdoor salt water pool, courtyard and much more…… Also, John Word’s Restaurant (formerly known as the Captain’s Table Restaurant for years) and Jazz Café is located on site. Offerings in the restaurant include: Southern style, hot breakfast Daily lunch specials, dinner, dinner specials Live entertainment on Weekends The restaurant is open seven (7) days a week from 6:00am – 10:00 p.m. however, some days we close earlier, depending on how busy we are. The inn and restaurant have been owned and operated by John M. Word for thirty-five years in their present location
