Welcome to The Austin Hill Inn, an intimate country getaway nestled on five acres amid the Green Mountains, just outside the historic village of West Dover in the Mount Snow Valley of southern Vermont. Our inn offers eleven guest rooms, individually designed with antiques and hand-stenciled country furnishings. Many have balconies and fireplaces. The selection includes a range of room types from the romantically appointed King and Queen bedded rooms to our two room suite complete with TV and fireplace.
After a soothing night of slumber, there's nothing like a hearty breakfast to get you looking forward to a new day! Breakfast is served each morning and includes home-baked muffins and breads, daily breakfast specials, bacon or sausage, eggs, pancakes or French toast, hot and cold cereals and juice.
Upon returning from your day's activities, afternoon tea with complimentary wine & cheese, await your arrival. Or, if there is an interest, massages offered by a licensed masseuse is also available inn-house. Relax in your own guestroom in front of the fire while enjoying a Swedish massage.
In addition to our romantic getaways, we also offer suspense filled Murder Mystery Weekends at various times throughout the year. Guests themselves have the fun of assuming the roles of suspects, murderers, even victims and everyone plays detective.
The inn is within minutes to downhill skiing at Mount Snow, hiking in the National Forest, canoeing or kayaking, golfing at Haystack and Mt. Snow, mountain biking, seasonal hay rides and sleigh rides, horseback riding, downhill or cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, nook & cranny shopping and antiquing
