We stayed in White Horse Inn on a trip to Berkshire. They have (I think), 8 rooms, including a room with a King Size bed plus a sofa bed. All the rooms have private baths. The room is quiet as are the other guests in the Inn and my sleep quality was excellent! I've stayed in many European B&Bs and I have to say that White Horse Inn is probably one of the best, if not the best B&B I have stayed in. It is comfortable, clean and combine that with a gracious host who will cater to your every need including picking you up from the local train station--you can't beat it. The breakfast is "continental", with lots of cereals, bread and fruit. I only had to say that I like eggs, and John whipped us up a delicious bowl of scrambled eggs. Need one write more? If I am ever in that area again, I am staying in White Horse Inn. « less
