The Château St. Gerlach dates back to the 15th century and is set in a large country estate with landscaped gardens, bordering the Ingendael nature reserve and eight kilometers from Maastricht. The 112 guestrooms have interiors individualised with unusual furniture, antique pieces, Venetian hand woven fabrics and printed silks. Driving Directions - Chateau St. Gerlach

A free shuttle service from the airport is available to guests between 9 AM and 9 PM (subject to availability). Alternatively, taxis are available from outside the terminal building and should cost around 25 EUR for a trip to the hotel.
From the airport follow the A2 motorway south as far as exit (afslag) 51 Meerssen/Valkenburg/Bunde/Beatrixhaven. At the end of the exit slip road is a roundabout. Take the third exit from the roundabout in the direction of Meerssen/Valkenburg/Maastricht. At the next roundabout (approximately 200 metres) turn right towards Meerssen/Valkenburg/Maastricht and at the third roundabout (approximately 200 metres) go straight on. Follow this road for about two kilometres until the next roundabout, where you carry straight on in the direction of Valkenburg/Heerlen. After approximately 400 metres turn left onto the A79 in the direction of Valkenburg/Heerlen. Take exit 2 for Meerssen/Houthem and turn left at the end of the exit slip road in the direction of Houthem/Valkenburg. Follow the road for approximately 2 kilometres, after which you should see Joseph Corneli Allée on your right hand side, where the hotel is situated.
