I travel a lot for work, and if the staff had to be some of the nicest I have encountered, everyone from the housekeeping to the front desk, I cannot express how nice they were. The room however was a different story, the blanket had a couple of cigarette burn holes in it, which goes to show you how long that blanket has been there. The whole hotel had some kind of funky smell to it, including the rooms. Both of the bedside lamps were falling apart and only one of them actually turned on. I don't expect some five star accommodations, but I do expect at least everything to work, and a bed linen without holes in it. « less

The team at Super 8 in Burton, MI are glad to hear that your one on one experiences with us was great! We strive to please our guest as well as connect with them. It is true that our furnishings are outdated. However, the good news is that we are renovating our rooms and by the end of the year, you will see a new Super 8 in Burton. We do apologize that you didn't enjoy the room as much as the staff, but give us another chance and I am sure you will be pleased.
