WHISTLER'S INN

Whistler's Inn, featured on the Travel Channel, is an 1820 English Tudor mansion in the heart of the Berkshire hills. Once the home of Ross Whistler, nephew of James Whistler, the painter, the inn captures the warmth and elegance of a bygone era. Surrounded six acres of magnificent trees and ancient gardens, it is close to Lenox town center, Kennedy Park, and all major Berkshire attractions. Central to the inn is its well-stocked library with complementary sherry and the French music room with a Steinway grand. Chandeliers, marble fireplaces, Persian rugs, antiques and paintings grace each of the public rooms, including the baronial dining room, where a delicious buffet breakfast is served. The menu features healthful home baked muffins and breads, egg dishes, cereals, fruit, juices, teas and coffee. Guests delight in our stimulating conversations on every topic imaginable, or they can choose a quiet corner for reading and privacy. Each cozy bedroom has a modern private bathroom with a shower and is individually furnished with antiques and reproduction furniture.
