Don't get off at the wrong floor, you may see doors literally off their hinges. Once you see your room you will check out immediately, as we did. « less

Upon our arrival, our first impression was not favorable as the outside of the hotel needs some work. Our check in was at 3:00, and we arrived a bit early and the room was not ready which is understandable. We decided to check the pool out and were REALLY disappointed since it looked like a breeding ground for bugs and the pool does not get cleaned.
At 4:30, they decided to switch our room since our room was still not ready. Although the room is in need of updating, it seemed to be clean. We turn on the air conditioning and leave for the races to return where the AC was not working. We suffered through the night and had it fixed the next morning.
Towels seem to be hard to come by for some reason. We wake the next morning with 2 sets of towels in a room for 4 people. We hunt down the cleaning people and off to the races again. After our return (7:30PM) the room was still not cleaned. They knock on the door at 8:00 and we just have them replace to towels for the next morning since it was so late. We leave for the races the next morning, we run into the cleaning people at the room next to us and we are next on the list. Wake up the next morning and there is now enough towels for 1 person to shower. Not sure what they are thinking here, but maybe they wanted us to use the old wash clothes and towels left on the floor after they cleaned the room? « less

I was very impressed with this hotel from the reviews I read before we stayed there. The service was great and the room was clean. I do agree that it needed a face lift and in the bathroom the wood trim was rottening on the bottom of the door. But the room we had was huge and it was very clean. I would stay there again if I ever visit Deland again. « less

Air conditioning area on top wall, old water damage possible mold. Bathroom, can not even say. We were horified. Today I am fighting to get may second night deposit back, had to leave could not stay another night. « less
