Stayed recently on a spur of the moment getaway. Very clean, professional hotel, that exceeded my expectations. Check in was smooth and quick and the room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. A few pointers, you have to pay for parking, no biggie, it s very convenient to the hotel, and the room I was in 721 , had a constant weird knocking, almost like it was in the pipes....not sure why or how, but was annoying at some times. Also visited the bar on my second night. The staff was attentive and the food and drink were plentiful! I even had the bed turned down with candies left for me the second night. Very nice touch! Would come back anytime, as the staff made an unexpected visit delightful. Thank you. « less

I stayed here a few days on business and though the staff were very friendly the building itself definitely was below the normal Marriott standards . Nothing major just lots of little things , Torn wallpaper patched up , torn carpets taped up , peeling paint and leaking shower faucets in the bathroom . Feels like they need to spend some money to invigorate this back to gold standard. The rooms were nice and quiet , food was OK ( though the breakfast was a let down) and why oh why do marriott still want to charge $12 a day for internet access when the budget hotels give it away for free ?? « less

I stayed in this Marriott in New Jersey over eight months ago. It was a nice place, but I won’t (can’t) stay there ever again; let me tell you why. My travel agent booked the reservation, but she never got paid for it. In checking on the hotel recently, she found out that the franchise owner is notorious for not paying travel agents. If you are dependent on commissions for your income, you realize that dead beats are not good for business. The owner must be suffering bad times from the depression and decided not to pay the people who earn money by filling his hotel. I don’t blame her one bit, but she wants to check out the hotel in the future before getting me a room. Avoid this hotel. The guy who owns it is very rich, but he got rich by stealing from travel agents. Stay away from cheap hotels like this one owned by the cheapest guy in the country. Trenton Willy « less

A well decorated hotel in the city of Trenton. Not bad at all considering Trenton's reputation. The decor was nice and homely. The staff were courteous and always willing to help. My only complaint would be the noise of the shower. I had my two kids in the room and noise of their father in the shower woke them up! It felt like a truck coming through the wall! The food was good, albeit a bit pricey. But the cost of the room was good.

Although Trenton, NJ has quite a reputation, I had to work at a nearby college and the office there recommended I acquire a room here. Nice place - the place is kept immaculate, the hallways and rooms are excellent, and the staff, is without doubt, knowledgeable, friendly and very outgoing. I requested a late check-out and it was granted easily and without a struggle. The room was comfortable and clean, bathroom spotless, plenty of towels. Only 2 downside quirks here, they charge for internet service, where many other hotels no-longer charge for internet, and they are located next to a parking garage and as a guest, you have to pay to park you car, which based on the areas rep., was strongly suggested by the staff, and I paid at the front desk - a 24 hour pass is $13.00 US, but personally, it should be included, as I think nickle and diming the guests in any hotel is a bit outrageous. « less
