Me and my now boyfriend stayed in this hotel Valentine's day weekend. This hotel is not too bad. The only problem I had with it was the non soundproof walls. In the morning you could hear everything everybody said but at night it is pretty quiet. Also I didnt like the hard floors but other than that it was fine. Honestly this is not a hotel for children but if you and your bf/gf want to have a nice weekend in a hot for cheap, staying here is not a bad idea. « less

Staff is great, motel rooms and rates are average. But do not stay here... Never, if you expect to sleep. 100 feet behind the motel property is the local commuter and Amtrak rail line, and lets not forget the freight trains. OMG! The Motel is 2 blocks from Commercial Blvd which is a major Ft Lauderdale road and grade level rail road crossing. Geez, the train engineers are blowing the airhorns like crazy as they approach this busy crossing. And your room is about a 100 feet away from the rails. Figure every 15 minutes with the commuter trains, Amtrak every couple of hours and freight trains just when you thought it was safe to attempt. sleep. When I first entered my room I saw the unusual double plated glass windows. When the first of the afternoons trains roared past, I understood the attempt to muffle the noise. And the building was shaking from the Amtrak. Please, I'm a big fan of Red Roof Inn, but do yourself a favor, For-ged-about-it !!!!!!!!!! « less

From the moment I walked in and was greeted by a smile from Diana to the point I heard, there is NO CHARGE for your pet, I immediately felt like they knew why I was there. It was the best thing I heard until I heard the price, get this--online quote was $5 more than what they charged me.I PAID LESS THAN ONLINE, that was a first and I was flabbergasted by that. I loved this place from every greeting and smile I got EACH TIME I came in, to just being able to feel like home and talk with them about anything. They make you feel like friends you have missed for so long and are welcoming you back! « less

Booked the reservation on line was quoted a price. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted your early. Not a good afternoon or anything. When i asked about the quote was told this is the price which I thought to be very pricey. Ad for rooms said hairdryer in room, Upon asking about different items was told had to get hairdryer at ck in desk. Guess we were to be mind readers, No shampoo or soap to speak of. Couple with me had to ask for soap, Would not recommend staying there. A train ran behind the hotel so not much sleep « less
