Extensive ($8.6 million) improvements and upgrades, currently underway, are making this premier hotel and meeting center better than ever! Our project completion, expected by January 2007, will rejuvenate guestrooms, bathrooms, restaurant, fitness center, lobby and even the exterior. All guestrooms will also include upgraded amenities such as refrigerators, microwaves, Garden Sleep System™, an ergonomic Mirra™ desk chair by Herman Miller and High Definition Television (HDTV). Finally, with our new look will come a new name. The Capitol Place Hotel will officially become the Hilton Garden Inn Austin Downtown
