Property Description
The Open Hearth Lodge is located in a meadow on 6+ acres of land. The Sister Bay walking biking path starts at the end of our Driveway. This is also used by snowmobilers in the winter. Rooms have 2 queen beds or a king bed and Love seat/sofa. All rooms have refrigerators,hair dryers, irons and cable TV. There is an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, and an outdoor patio for sunning. The large yard allows space for grilling, games, walks and a playground. A continental breakfast is provided. This room can be used for gatherings, meetings, or games like cards of about 15 people. We also have a lounge/lobby area with a fireplace for relaxing or visiting.
Green Sustainability
Linens changed every 4th day or if needed, of course on departure of a guest. Towels can be reused or replaced. Paper, cardboard, and beverage containers are recycled. Use fluorescent and Led lighting. Most cleaning products are green and tissue recycled paper.
