We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. This is THE oldest hotel in Victoria, so we decided to experience the charm. Our room was very small. We briefly thought about looking around at another hotel for something more comfortable but decided against it because we didn't plan on spending much time in the room anyways. It was clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast is one of those self-serve set ups which isn't the most charming but it was breakfast. There is limited parking for an additional $10 a night. The big winner for this hotel is location!! It is within walking distance of all the downtown events and sights! There is a great little spot called John's Place 2 blooks north that has fantastic breakfasts! « less

We do offer three main types of accommodations, and they are priced accordingly. Our newly renovated Dalton Boutique Rooms and Dalton Boutique Suites are quite spacious, with air-conditioning and some with fireplaces and living rooms! We also offer standard Dalton Rooms for those people looking for a standard room and are budget-minded ( which are smaller than the Boutique Rooms ).

The 2 bed, room was clean, roomy and comfortable. The staff were helpful & quick to get us an extra cot, as well as able to help us with directions around town for places we wanted to go. We would definitely stay there again. « less

Based on previous reviews, I was weary at first but our Dalton stay was better than expected........the staff were more than accommodating and helpful, the hotel was older but the rooms were extremely clean and presentable. The hotel was quiet at night in side and the nightlife outside wasnt too bad or didnt last too long so that was a non issue. Breakfast that was included was great......we both left with full bellies! I would suggest this to others and consider it again if I go back to Victoria! « less
