Don't stay here, the clocks none of it was set up and when breakfast came in the morning the time was over while my clock says 8.44am .My kids didn't have any to eat and the colored lady at the front desk kept saying : IT`S CLOSED ,IT`S CLOSED , IT`S CLOSED ,IT`S CLOSED IT`S CLOSED , over and over and says to me go eat at Harry's restaurant. She was rude . The room stinks and old ,parking ,I had to walk the whole hotel to get to the room with my 2 SMALL KIDS. So sad ALABAMA .Love Florida hotels. « less

Lets see we can start with the hotel staff from the desk clerks who seemed frustrated to be there to the maintenance guy walking around angry because his hammer or something like that was missing. I can refer to the minor fire in the hotel (dirty rags in a dryer don't go together) where the fire alarm kept going off though we were told it was ok to stay in the room. Then there was the crew either power washing the windows or spraying the outside for bugs which left a foul chlorine smell in the room. Of course the smell got into the room because there were gaps between the heating/air conditioning unit and the wall where you could literally see outside through the gap. The baseboards in the room were not cut right leaving a large gap in the wall in one corner inviting the native bugs into the room - no I didn't see any but it would be a good guess they came out at night when I was sleeping. The room itself was outdated with a TV I had in my first apartment 25 years ago. The refrigerator did not work. They have a restaurant and lounge with a very limited selection and no draft beer. I do say the lounge staff was friendly and almost seemed apologetic. The food was good and affordable but my first night there the same woman served as bartender, waitress, busgirl, cook and dishwasher. And she was older and at on point wiped out beside the bar and those of us in the bar came to her aid. I am sorry this review is so harsh but it was a stay to forget. « less

Been there 3 times in past 2 months. Guy named Bill took over managing the place. Everything was 1000% better than las November/December when we stopped staying there. This weekend, we came with about 20 friends through Zoom Motorsports. It was obvious when the shuttle was laye to the airport they had changed management. Roomsvwere dirty. Restaurant was out of everything on the menu. Bar ran out of beer. Staff was totally clueless. Basically, in a short time, this hotel went back to exactly where it was last year. Tgese owners must be totally clueless. At 10 a.m. monday morning when I asked for the new manager, I was told she's not here and I don't know when she'll be in. Well that explains alot. I just hope someone from their sales office calls again begging for our business back so I can tell them you got it back, everything was going smoothly, you lost your manager and you're the hotel from hell again. No thanks, we won't be back. « less

I booked a reservation here, sight & reviews unseen, because Clarion Hotels and the Choice line of lodging are usually very nice. This was not. The room was in need of repair. The area where the wall & ceiling met, was separating; the bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned - hairs in sink & tub; the carpet gathered in spots, the room door was separated from the door jam, and the list goes on. The bar was opened for three hours for food & drink. The menu was adequate but tired. I had nachos. The chips tasted stale & I did not expect liquid cheese. The staff are the best part of this hotel. They are friendly and accommodating. The driver did offer to take me elsewhere to eat but I was ready to just call it a night. Next time I will try The Holiday Inn down the street. « less
