The Highland Manor Inn is a family oriented and operated establishment. Townsend is a pleasant gateway community to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Townsend is centrally located to Gatlinburg (21 miles), Pigeon Forge(15 miles), Cades Cove (9 miles), Knoxville (32 Miles), and is not highly commercialized like the other gateway communities around the Smokies Park. The Highland Manor Inn is located on a peaceful, quiet hilltop with a great vkiew of the mountains. Most rooms are ground floor and have either a terrace or a private balcony to enjoy. The guest rooms have either one or two queen bed,s or one king. Some rooms feature double size whirlpool baths and/or fireplaces. All rooms have a refrigerator and a microwave, and coffee pots are available upon request. The Highland Manor Inn Conference Center is octagonal in design and offers an excellent meeting facility for small to medium size groups. Food service is provided vas various catering companies. A kitchen area with refrigerator and microwave allows for smooth serving and cleanup.
