Me and some of my coworkers did not stay at the hotel but we went in to the bar located in the hotel. When we got to the door the bouncer stopped us because we had on jackets in 30 degree weather. He advised us that he need to take our JACKETS( which do have a zipper) to the car because you can not wear HOODIES( which do NOT have a zipper) in the bar. Just when we were explaining the difference between HOODIES AND JACKETS, 2 other women came out ( which just happened to be a different race) w. a coat and a jacket on. They DID NOT half to go ALL THE WAY TO THE CAR TO TAKE THEIR HOODIES/JACKETS/COATS TO TAKE THEM OFF. Any way we lefted because ALL MONEY IS THE SAME MONEY. So I guess they are more worried about what color your skin is instead the color of money. « less

First room heat didn't work. Mold in the bathroom and tub dirty. Second room heat worked but still mold and this room was filthy dirty. We stayed on the first floor and drunk patrons from the bar ran up and down the hall till 3am yelling, shouting and fighting. The lobby is marble and beautiful but don't let this mirage fool you. This hotel needs desperate cleaning and upgrading. Will not stay here again. Way to over priced for what you get. « less

if u like gettin ripped off go to this hotel, i reserved this hotel cause i was going to the tennessee vs florida football game. back in late july early august i reserved 2 rooms with a debit card so i thought everything was good to go so packed my things took a couple of friends my son & sum of his freinds we get there which i paid cash for both rooms didnt get a receipt for any of the rooms cause they didnt offer, but i paid 106 dollars for each room, i told her not to charge my card so she said ok i handed her 106 for my room & my buddies handed her 106 she gave our keys to us for our rooms, so we got put bags up then we leave for ballgame the rooms stunk no towels in there & the shower was wore out then we check out sunday morning come home thought everything was alrite until the following wednesday my wife looks @ the checking account & she sees we 106 dollars in the hole so i call the hotel explain them what happen they go in the computer pull my account up say i didn't pay them 106 which they lied so they pulled it out of my bank account i tryed to be nice bout, but i called them 3 times trying to be nice bout, but if i call back i get nasty with them which i stayed in 201like sumbody else did that had a review on here room was nasty fifty dirty which i stayed there anyway, but if anybody desides to stay there watch ur money cause u may get ripped off. « less

was in Nashville TN 8-20-12 called the hotel in knoxville for a one night stay spoke to Beth she gave me a 50 dollar and some change rate and warned me about the 17%+ tax rate in the city. Told her I would take the rate she said no need to give credit card now I have 3 guest at desk and we have a bunch of rooms available. Drove in to Knoxville to hotel Beth still there told her we had spoken on phone and she remembered talking to me. I gave my AAA card D:L and CC for check in after she copied all she gave me a key I ask dont I need to sign something she said no you do so at check out. So to room 110 I went. Next morning I get ready to leave and go by front desk tell the guy in the light pink shirt I need to sign my paperwork and get my receipt he said no you sign paperwork at check in told him to check and sure enough he ask me for a signature. I told him wait this is not the rate I was quoted showed him my sticky note where I wrote Beths name down hotel phone number and the rate His reply was sorry that not what we are charging you your rate is 67.10 plus tax. Ask to whom I could send a complaint to and he said O'h give it to me I'll be sure it gets to the right place. I said RIGHT what the trash can. Conf # 4608461 Also no convenient plugs in rooms. All are jammed up. Curtins do not close completly so be careful where you undress. I will not stay here again for sure. Go on line they post a $55.00 rate even tonight. g m owens « less
