Prior to the restoration the Capital offered 129 generally uniform rooms. The hotel’s key count is now 94 rooms including a luxury tier of 15 Capital rooms (over 500 sq. ft.) that include a double vanity, separate shower and WC. The four suites are nothing short of breathtaking. While each and every room was taken down to the frame and entirely renovated; guests now have a unique variety of rooms to meet every need, taste or budget.
The Capital is proud to boast an unusually abundant staff, a nationally celebrated culinary team, two restaurants, two lounges, an exquisite specialty shop and the benefits of an exhaustive restoration. Nevertheless, measured against comparable hotels in larger cities or major destinations the Capital offers exceptional value for the dollar spent.
One of the benefits of an intimate hotel like the Capital is that the Chef has time to help you custom design your own menus based on the specific needs of the event you are hosting. Our only demand is that the food is fresh and hand-prepared in order to fulfill your wishes and dreams.
As the “Grand Dame” of downtown life for well over a century, the Capital is uniquely positioned to incorporate a wide variety of intriguing settings into an exciting program. The Clinton Library, School and Store, The Art Center, The Museum of Discovery, the Rivermarket, myriad historic buildings and even the river offer you a variety of setting and moods. Best of all you will enjoy the surprise of a new destination instead of having to repackage places that are enjoyable but a bit too well known for everyone.

Everything about this place is posh and accommodating. You get escorted to your room by a front desk clerk who checks you in by iPad. The new owners retained the original, gorgeous marble floors. We went to Little Rock for a concert at the Verizon and the hotel staff took us to the concert and picked us up after the concert. The hotel staff was great with our children too! « less

Wow! I was here for a 4-day workshop and have never felt more pampered. This is Southern hospitality at its best. Personal attention that began with a car picking me up at the airport, a personal in-room check-in, free water, morning coffee, and package of pralines on the pillow for turn down. The room was comfortable and included a large closet with plenty of hangers, table & chairs for two, comfy stuffed chair with ottoman, lights everywhere, and a bathroom with a long tub. I would have come just for the room and wonderful customer service. « less

It was such a pleasure to stay at the Capital Hotel instead of the chains. The downtown area is not very exciting and it was nice to be somewhere that was a refreshing contrast to its surroundings. When we arrived the front desk person greeted us at the door and took us straight to our room. She performed the check-in duties right in our room. We had never experienced that before. The room was small but very nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. The shower water pressure needs some work but the bathroom was nice. The hotel provides complimentary coffee in the morning and it is actually good not watery.
Something that was really "cute" is that instead of having housekeeping carts in the hallways, someone delivers covered baskets with the replacement items for the bathrooms and bed and places them in the hallway. Also, very unique.
The hotel provides turndown service with yummy pecan praline. Wow, what a treat!
The restaurant and the bar/restaurant were also quite nice. « less

A beautiful and charming hotel. I was here for 3 nights on business and found the entire experience a pleasure. The staff was gracious, the hotel spotless and the food delicious. Plus, it has one of the largest elevators you will ever be in! While my room was small, it had high ceilings, a huge walk in closet and impeccable decor and linens. The southern toffee that was left in the room each night was a nice treat. Rather than call us a cab, the valet drove us about 5 miles to a local restaurant overlooking the Arkansas river at no charge. (We did tip, though). Enjoyed the Moscow Mules in the bar at night and the chocolate-peanut butter french toast for breakfast at Ashley's. Loved the look of Ashley's, with all the cranberry cut-glass vases and mirrors. Not to mention the huge vases of cut roses throughout the hotel. It was my first trip to Little Rock and I would definitely stay here again. « less

Stayed one night here during on our US road trip as a break between Fort Worth and Memphis. This was the best of the 10 hotels we stayed at during our holiday. The friendliest staff in the world. Beautiful restored building made you feel you were back in the 1900's. It has the biggest lift I have ever seen. Fabulous room decorations, very comfortable bed and well fitted bathroom. They have a formal restaurant and an informal one. We ate in the informal one in he evening, also excellent. The breakfast next morning was served in the formal dining room and we could have stayed there all day! Amazing fittings, top class service and breakfasts to die for. Would award this hotel 10 dots if it were possible. « less

"Our stay was far beyond our expectations!! Everyone was thrilled with the service, the rooms and most of all the price!! I have recommended you to everyone I know. I spoke with the head of our Volleyball Club and he is anxious to check you guys out for the next year." K.F. - Evansville, IN
"The bid feature of the website is cool. Instead of the buyer committing blindly to the seller, the seller has to accept the buyer's terms and provide a price. We love it." J.K. - Lansing, MI
