The Inn Springville provides a comfortable retreat in the heart of Grant Wood country.
The Inn Springville is located in downtown Springville in the former Springville Savings Bank building. Few traces of the original bank remain, though recent rennovations have brought the rooms up to a modern standard while retaining a flavor of the building's interesting history.
Handsomely refinished hardwood floors reveal oil stains at the rear of the Deluxe Suite where a harnessmaker once treated leather in his shop. Slight irregularities in the walls of the Petite Room hint at changes in the building's use over the decades.
All rooms are well appointed and include cable TV with DVD, coffee/tea service, Italian truffles, and many other amenities.
Set in the timeless pastoral beauty of Grant Wood's landscapes, The Inn Springville is far from the noise of the city and only a stone's throw to shopping, antiques, entertainment and nightlife.
