I recently stayed here and was SHOCKED! It is in a state of decay! There are ZERO amenities, other than free parking...in a dark lot! Upon entering my room, it seemed ok. I awoke at 3 am to find that my bed was INFESTED with ANTS!!! I ran to the bathrrom and there were ants EVERYWHERE!!. I got dressed, went to the desk and NO ONE was working! There was a note that said they would be right back!. I returned to my room and sat in a chair for 3 hours, fully dressed...including shoes, to wait for someone to show up at the desk. At 645, I went back to the desk, and the note was still there...I left a note and left the "hotel" I went to work and no one ever contacted me. I called in a few days later, spoke with Noel and was offered a free stay. I accepted and had no problems. I then attempted to book another stay through a different site, and was informed, after paying, that I was NOT welcome there! I am a BAD guest!!! PITIFUL!! « less

We were coming back from Chicago and we passed the Bollero a couple of times because there was no clear sign and there were only a couple of cars in the parking lot. we got up to our room and the lights wouldn't turn on. the guy had to come and fix them. we looked in the shower and there was a pubic hair on the soap tray. the hotel was just overall kind of dirty. they also have no wifi and a lot of their amenities were under construction. this hotel left a lot to be desired. pay the extra money for a nicer hotel. « less

i live in the area and twice my mom stayed here while she was alive and it was Hotel Indigo. the place is now all run down, they have no amenities anymore. i see the hotel's minibus move around from spot to spot and once in a while see more than 2-3 cars there, but otherwise, there is caution tape run around stuff on the roof, i called to see how much the meeting rooms were and was told that if we needed tables then no!?!?! I said, you have no tables?!? and she said they have no linens cause they don't have banquets anymore.
really odd. but i may call back cause if it's cheap enough we don't need linens. as long as the room is clean. it's a shame since the decor was gorgeous when it was Hotel Indigo. « less

We arrived at 8:30 pm in the evening. The parking lot is dark and scary. There is no bright sign to easily identify the hotel. Upon entering, the trash can was over flowing but I thought nothing of it. I just assumed a large group had just left. The guy working behind the desk had his feet up on the desk. He did not take his feet down until my husband gave him his ID and that is when he stood up to help. We made it to the room and realized that a room with two queen size beds is really two full size beds.
The kids and I went to check out the pool area. Upon entering the pool area there were some teenage kids smoking. There were red plastic cups all over the pool and someone had placed a table in the pool. I asked the guy working at the front desk if it was a private party and he told me no. He suggested if I wanna use the pool they will clean up if he told them to do so. The kids and I decided to pass on the late night swim.
I asked what time does the breakfast area open. The guy at the front desk said that the restaurant, bar and breakfast area is closed. They no longer offer food service at that location. But the website says something different.
The room: So I never pay much attention to the little details but after watching a couple of episodes of "Hotel Impossible". The light fixtures need new light bulbs, I found hair on the bed (not mine) and everything is dusty! It looked like the room was cleaned a while ago and instead of re-cleaning it, they put us in the room.
Around 11:30 pm some kids (teenagers) were running around the halls, screaming and cursing. The front desk person told me he could not do anything about it. The floors and the walls are thin...I could hear everything that the people above us were saying and doing!
WORSE overnight experience EVER!
Upon exiting the hotel the next morning (8:30 am), the front desk person (same guy) had his feet up and was taking a nap. The SAME trash was over flowing from the night before. This place has great potential but there is poor up keep. It is the only hotel in the area, and it right off the expressway. The furniture and decorations are beautiful! But everything else takes away that beauty. « less

This hotel was scary pulling up. It had yellow tape around one area and looked very abandoned. We actually passed it three times looking for it. Once inside it was nice. Since only four guests were in the entire hotel, it was the quietest hotel stay ever. The concierge was very helpful and even gave us menus to restaurants that delivered. I booked an unpublished rate and I must say, for the money I paid it was great. I would stay again. P.S. one of the benefits of an almost empty hotel is that if you don't like your room, you can always ask to be switched to a different room. « less

Testimonials: Why use Hotel Planner?
"This is the first time I used your service and I was very satisfied with the software program. It was very user friendly and had so many different options you could use. There was a great selection of hotels to choose from. I have finalized my booking with Liz of Bay Park Hotel and have stopped all other biddings. Thank you again. It made my job a lot easier in finding a place to stay for the group!" J.W. - Monterey, CA
"This is the fastest room agreement we have ever made. I love, love, love your website. I have had nothing but success in using your company to book meeting rooms for our company. This makes my job so much easier." L.J. - Orlando, FL
