“Funky” hotel in the HEART of the city
MISC EATDRINKSLEEP is run by an enthusiastic young couple that enjoy sharing their love of Amsterdam with their guests. This lovely little hideaway is located next to the traditional Nieuwmarkt square in the heart of the “old” historic city centre of Amsterdam.
This 17th-century canal house features just six simple and appropriately named rooms: Africa, Baroque, Rembrandt, Dutch Design, Retro and Wonder.
The slightly larger rooms at the front of the building have a beautiful view over one of the historic canals of Amsterdam. There is an African style room, a room dedicated to the painting of the 'night watch' by Rembrandt and a very light modern Design room.
The rooms at the back are quieter with a view over one of the lovely inner gardens of Amsterdam. There is a warm Eastern room, a psychedelic Retro room and a stylish Baroque room.
Dutch Design: located on the first floor, this room has splendid views of the canal and has a light and airy design expressing modern Dutch style and taste, and features pieces by young Dutch designers.
Wonders: Richly decorated and styled, enter a Persian fantasy for two, with your own view of the hanging gardens right outside your window.
Rembrandt: for lovers of tradition, an Old Amsterdam Style room. Why not let Rembrandt's night watch painting keep you safe through the night?
Retro: A fantasy of the swinging 60's, clean lines and bold colors, a groovy example of the psychedelic age.
Africa: sit in your room of peace, order and tranquillity and reflect on the views of the East African coast.
Baroque: a pearl of a room, bright, light and pretty. Your own secret romantic hideaway at the top of the world.
The breakfast room, located on the ground floor, catches the morning sunlight; can you imagine a better way of starting the day? The cosy atmosphere and freshly prepared breakfasts make our guests feel right “at home”.
Breakfast is included with the room and is served from 9am until 12pm. Expect croissants, different types of bread, butter, cheese, jam, an egg, fresh orange juice and coffee or tea.
For an additional charge you can upgrade to an 'English' breakfast consisting of: fried eggs with bacon, sausages, mushrooms, beans tomato, and toast served with fresh orange juice and coffee or tea.
Any other style breakfast is available upon request (at least 24 hours in advance).
MISC EATDRINKSLEEP is ideally located in the very centre of Amsterdam! It's only about 1, 5 km walking distance of the Central Station, Dam Square and Rembrandtplein. And only 3 km from the Jordaan, Leidseplein, the Museum area and the famous Vondelpark.
