We stayed here for one night. It wasn't too bad. There were a few things that were wrong, but over all things were nice. We ate at the cafe at the palms and that sucked. It sucks that the balcony's are only for owners use. It would have been nice to go out on them. The rooms are huge and the bed is comfortable. I try and stay somewhere new everytime I stay in Vegas so I probably wouldn't stay here again. Plus I prefer to be onstrip, which this hotel is not. « less

What is really cool with the palms place, it's that is not a casino, so you don't have to pass one to get to your room, but there one in the Palms witch you can access from inside. The only thing that is not great about this hotel is that is not on the strip, you have a lot of option, there's a navette from 11 to 8 , there the bus 24h , the taxi or you can walk , but is still a little bit annoying to have to travel the distance , witch is not that far but... if you rent a car it would really recommend this hotel. But is a really nice hotel , and the room are amazing « less

We arrived on a Monday for the week with our $63 a night rate. In vegas thats great and being off the strip we werent worried because of a free shuttle they offer 11am-8pm. We arrived early but were able to check in with a fee of $30 extra. We got to our room and quickly noticed the smell of weed outside our door. When entering it lingered as if. Someone was just in there smoking. We spoke w a housekeeper who assured us it was the room next door and it was like that for 2 weeks. We quickly called the front desk to change rooms and they were very accomodating. We moved with the help of a bellman they sent up for us. The 2nd room we were given was the same size and great view of the strip. We did notice that it seemed a bit dirty still. Like housekeeping did a quick one over on the room. We were here early though so maybe they did have to rush to complete it. The hotel is away from all the casino hustle and bustle so that is nice too. A skywalk connects you to palms or a short walk outside by the parking lot too. The pool at the palms is great too. Great djs and music even during the week! The palms place pool is smaller and rooftop but equally great!
All in all nice hotel for the price we paid. Will probably not stay again though due to the cleanliness of the hotel rms weve experienced. « less

I stayed here with 12 girls for my 21st Birthday and it was amazing! This hotel is the place to stay in Vegas! It was great to go out and enjoy the strip for the day (or night) and then be able to head back to the hotel which is away from the strip and relax away from the crazy. It was pretty relaxing to not stay on the strip. Although I did enjoy my time on the strip, I had the most fun at the clubs in the hotel. the Rain club particularly was totally awesome, they played great music and there was lights and fire and it wasn't like totally packed like the marquee (omg marquee SUCKED!) and the ghost bar was amazing too. All staff we encountered were super nice and quick to help us and housekeeping was superb. There was a Jacuzzi tub in our suite and the water fell from the ceiling to fill it up which was crazy cool! the bose sound system was great for the party before the party ;) Over all this was a great place that I would return to in a heartbeat.
I booked 5 months in advance and got a great rate! it was at least $300 more by the time we check in so make sure you book in advance! and ask for a strip view! « less
