Customer Reviews of The Historic Statesboro Inn & Restaurant

Property Description

Our Unique and Historic Bed and Breakfast is really a home away from home. Following every night you stay with us, you will wake up to a full, home-cooked breakfast each morning. We offer a large variety of flexible services, from afternoon tea, to a delicious Southern Cooked Sunday buffet, and full wedding services. We have 18 guest rooms, and a private 2 bedroom cottage that has a full kitchen and living area. Each of our 18 guest rooms are uniquely decorated in their own style, and our 3 houses are filled with antiques and beautiful pieces of furniture. The main house,a gorgeous, turn of the century Victorian, was built in 1905,and has 7 guest rooms. The Brannen House, located adjacent to the main house, was built in 1881, and is the oldest structure in Bulloch County still in use. Our private guest cottage, located at the rear of the property, is the site where Statesboro's own, Blues Legend, 'Blind Willie' McTell is rumored to have penned the Allman Brothers hit, "Statesboro Blues". If our walls could speak, they would have over 120 years of history to discuss. Our grounds include a Koi pond, a fountain, gardens, a large furnished screened porch, a balcony over looking Downtown Statesboro, and a huge furnished outdoor veranda where you can enjoy a relaxing afternoon glass of iced tea. Come visit The Historic Statesboro Inn & Restaurant, where we turn a simple overnight stay into a peaceful, relaxing vacation! We look forward to your overnight stay. We are located less than 5 miles from Georgia Southern University. We offer Corporate and Wedding Party Discounts.

Testimonials: Why use Hotel Planner?

Testimonials icon
"When people provide customer friendly service in today’s world, it should be applauded! So many businesses have taken almost and adversarial attitude towards the customer, in other words, they over compensate for a consumer not following through. As a business, it is my understanding, that the business should always follow through and do as they promise! Loyalty between consumers and businesses should remain alive, profit above service is a bad plan and will cost the business in the long run!" R.F. - Denver, CO
