The Best western Lodge at Nederland is styled after a log cabin, the interior is a western motif. We are located 17 miles (25min.) west of Boulder. All rooms are non-smoking, all downstairs rooms offer a gas fire place, perfect for cold winter nights. Upstairs rooms are recently remodeled and have family suites available upon request. In the morning we offer a free hot breakfast. We also have a hot tub for relaxing after a long day of skiing or simply to sit back and relax. The hotel offers WiFi internet and 3HBO channels.
In room amenities include mini refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards.
The surrounding area offers skiing (alpine and cross country)snowboarding and snow shoeing in the winter. In the summer there are many maintained trails for hiking and mountain biking, there are lakes, streams and rivers for fishing. We are also located 45 minutes from Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.

Another family decided to join ours at this centrally located hotel in Nederland. We were both quite happy with the family suites on the second floor. THey were very cosy and the children loved the bunk beds. Some of the bathroom accessories were not top quality so seemed a little fragile. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. But, there were enough options in the surrounding area for us to take-out. We came prepared and felt quite at home at the second-floor loft area where a big table was set up. We were able to all eat together and even play some games. It definitely felt like a mountain lodge which was perfect for our ski weekend. We even stayed an extra night due to inclement weather and the staff were quite accommodating. They even made us a special price for the second night: $117.99 instead of $145.99. Our friends were happy to be able to bring their dog with them for the weekend. Across the street from the hotel, we were able to rent snowshoes. we would definitely stay here again. Nederland is a quirky place with quite a few friendly characters. If you don't mind the laid-back atmosphere, then you will be just fine. « less

This lodge has to be rated high on the AAA rating. I needed a place to get away and found this place fit the bill for me. The only complaint I had with the room was figuring which light switch operated which light/s. The free morning breakfast was fresh and offered a wide variety of choices to get a jump start on your day. « less

I just got back from a weekend ski vacation at Eldora Mountain Ski Resort in Nederland. We stayed at the Best Western lodge. The property is beautiful; unlike any Best Western I've stayed at elsewhere. The room was cozy and stocked with mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and other amenities. Breakfast was about what you'd expect for a free continental breakfast, but I still left with a full belly. The coffee was pretty bad, but there's a great coffee shop directly across the street. Also across the street is the bus stop for the public transit to the ski resort, and it's one of the last stops, so you load up on the bus and ten minutes or so later you're pulling up at Eldora. If you're bringing ski gear on the bus, yours will be on top so you're last on, first off. Really convenient. Pam was very accommodating. In fact, my review is motivated partly in response other reviews that I had seen. I only have positive things to say about how she runs things. In fact, all the staff was great. I didn't get anyone else's name, but everyone was helpful and friendly. I'd certainly stay here again if my travels bring me back to Nederland. « less

I stayed at the Best Western Lodge at Nederland for 3 nights over the Christmas to New Year week. I loved it. The log cabin feel of the place is just perfect. The rooms are all a little unique in the set up, but for hotel rooms they are huge with seating areas as well as the super comfy cozy bed. There is a gas fireplace that is easy to use and the heating was easily adjustable for individual comfort. The room was very clean and the maids did a great job. Every one was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nothing outstanding, but it was sufficient and the breakfast room was pleasant. The hot tub was fun, but the hot tub room was very steamy and damp. The lobby has comfy chairs, a piano, and a fireplace. The wifi worked great and there is a printer where you can print out boarding passes for your next flight (no charge). I think this place is a great value for the money. « less
