Located in the heart of downtown Marshalltown, the Historic Tremont Building was built in 1874. Poised between Center and First Streets, The Tremont property is a city landmark and has shared its space with founding fathers and businesses. The Tremont was named the Official Best Small Hotel in Iowa for 2009. Each guest room is individually decorated and plushly appointed with thick, comfortable bathrobes for lounging, ironing boards, irons, hairdryers and spa bath amenities. A Butler's Kitchen is located down the hall for guest's convenience offering an assortment of beverages and snacks.
