My daughter's flight was cancelled last minute but the staff at The Tampa Airport Marriott stepped up their game. When I call from Ohio(Mom) to make a reservation in her name(Kate) with my credit card, the process was seamless. All the staff they encountered were so kind and caring. .balm for a weary traveler. I was traveling with my friend who has Alzheimer's. From the time we pulled up to the hotel, to being helped to the terminal, every employee was so kind, caring and helpful; it was such a wonderful experience. Thank you to all of my Marriott angels! You made my trip easy! Special shout out to Carlos, the bellman on Tuesday morning, he is my special angel! He was outstanding with his service and caring way! His advice to use the skycap to get us to the terminal saved my day. Friend in wheelchair, we found out at the TSA check in that I had put the wrong DOB on my friend's reservation. The skycap did all the leg work to fix it for us and we stayed at the TSA Security. Thank you, Carlos! Keep on caring!

Got in late through no fault of our own, but at 12 midnight there was no valet to get our car out. Called the night clerk about it and he seemed put out because he had to bring down the key. We had to carry out luggage to the car ourselves (which meant me carrying four bags/suitcases) because the lady I was with is on oxygen and couldn't walk at that point. Man didn't help. He was also very cold when asked questions the evening we stayed over. He isn't very friendly. The lady who checked us in was great. It's good he works nights so he doesn't interact so much with people.

We planned to stay at the hotel the night before our early morning flight but ended up staying three nights in Tampa because of canceled flights. We found everyone from the valet attendant, check-in personnel, dining room bartender, housekeeping staff and concierge room personnel, to be understanding, helpful and professional. Hotel is super convenient if you have an early flight out of TPA. The room was clean and comfy and as expected from a Marriot property. Restaurant food was good and staff attentive. I will definitely stay here again when flying out of Tampa.

I stayed one night before an early flight. My room was gorgeous, clean and quiet. I slept like a rock and had a nice, hot strong shower in the morning with lovely shower supplies. Walked from the lobby to the airport in plenty of time. What a treat! 10/10.

Attached to Tampa airport. It's a great place. You have many selections for food and they have a third party shuttle that will take you to the port for $15 each. Our go to hotel went in Tampa.
